To get as even number of participants as possible, we send out several email reminders. We also ask people to let us know if they can no longer make it as we can usually fill a space, even at the last minute. Nevertheless, not everyone lets us know if they can no longer make it, so from time to time there will be unequal numbers, despite our best efforts.

A: Event fees and pre-paid costs are non-refundable. However, if we cancel an event due to inclement weather, or due to other causes beyond our control, then all participants will receive a credit for a future event. In the event you have to cancel your reservation, 24-hour notice is required. Participants cancelling within 24 hours will receive credit for a future event. Credits must be used within 90 days or the credits are lost. Participants who fail to notify eSocial Calendar within 24-hours of the event will incur a loss of event fees or credits. A: This website provides all the information you need to attend upcoming events. The best way to keep informed, and to receive the club’s event listing, is to become a member and receive e-mails regarding upcoming events. Also, search our events page for upcoming events.

Q: What happens if there is limited space for an event?
A: Space is filled in the exact order that registrations are received. When an event has reached its maximum capacity, a waiting list will be started. If an event is filled, the subsequent registrants will be notified that they have been put on the waiting list.
Q: What if I’m on a waiting list for an event?
A: First, you will be notified that you are on the waiting list. Second, as we are notified of cancellations, the next person on the waiting list will be contacted so they may decide if they want to participate. This process will continue until the vacancy is filled. Of course, we will automatically set up credits to people on the waiting list who never have a chance to attend.

A: Just notify us of which event you would like the credit to be applied to, and we will take care of it. Credits must be used within 90 days of the date of the original event, or they are lost.

A: We welcome members 18 years of age and older. However, if alcohol is present at an event then registration will be limited to members 21 years of age and older.
Q: Why do your events have age ranges for men and women?
A: 19-year olds generally do not want to mingle with 60 year-olds and vice versa. Therefore, our events stay within a suggested age range. As far as the range of ages, a study of our members’ age preferences indicates that most women prefer to meet men who are a few years older than themselves, and most men want to meet women who are younger than them. So giving age ranges increases the chances that our participants will meet someone they want to see again. This also means that more people sign up for the events, which increases the chances for everyone to make a connection.
